Jaquesta Adams received the Advancing Science Conference Grant (ACSG) to attend the National Organization of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE) in September. She will also present a poster about her research on ligated silicon nitride clusters at the conference. Congratulations!

The Laboratory for the Clayborne Group has relocated to the Chemistry Laser Building. Prof. Clayborne has also moved to the Chemistry Laser Building.

Professor Clayborne visited the Changchun Institute for Applied Chemistry (CIAC), Chinese Academy of Sciences in Changchun, China (Jilin Province). As part of the International Research Fellowship, he participated in Professor Chen’s Research group located at CIAC in the State Key Laboratory of Electroanalytical Chemistry. The Clayborne group along with Prof. Karoliina Honkala (University of Jyväskylä) received a computer allocation for a project to study the reduction of nitric oxide. The international project was awarded ~2,000,000 bu on the supercomputer operated by the CSC-IT Center for Science in Finland.
